I live in Texas. I have been invited to hunt a friends farm in South eastern Tennessee. It is in Unit a in Grundy County. I need to know if you have to get drawn to hunt private land. I know if you are hunting wma's or public land you do but cannot make sense of the hunting guide. If you do have to get drawn, how many preferance points do you need to get drawn? Can someone in the know help me out. I appreciate your responses in advance. SHawn

No drawing for private land. You just need a nonresident hunting license and possibly a hunter education card depending on your age. In TN anyone born after Jan. 1, 1969 must have a hunter ed card.
