Not selling anything this is just a "heads up" on the deal I was surprised to stumble across... !

I just bought a box of 40 rounds .22-250 Rem in the Winchester 40gr HP for $26 Canadian Peso's at Walmart, they also had 55gr Federal's in 20 round boxes for $16 Canadian Peso's. I bought the only 40 round brick of Winchester Ammo they had in stock, they expect more stock within the next two weeks. I plan to buy at least 2 or 3 more bricks of the same 40gr bullets, that should give me some shooting fun & plenty of brass for reloading.

I also bought 3 boxes of CCI Velocitor .22 Rimfire ammunition for $5.75 Canadian Pesos each!

I have always hated Walmart with a passion, but was there buying cheap Maxwell House Coffee, when I decided on a whim to check & see what they sold in their sporting goods department... . Compared to the price charged at other hunting & sporting shops that was a great price& I did need some .22-250 seed brass! Just might have to change my attitude towards Wallymart.

Ken- Do you prefer the Winchester brass over Remington for reloading? And how do the 40 grainers work for ya'?

I don't have a big preference in brass, just that I like all my brass of the same flavor for a given caliber, the Wallymart up here didn't stock Remington ammo, Just Winchester & Federal, I have mostly Federal brass in my .260 & .338 calibers & have no complaints, only have Hornady brass for my .444, so choosing the Winchester was as much because it was cheaper than any other reason. My bullet choice for reloading is a 45gr hollowpoint so the Winchester 40gr was chosen because it was closer in weight to my stock of reloading bullets than the heavier Federal loads. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
