Is this a rare or desireable rifle. I found one in like new condition, and really like it. What is it worth? Asking price is 400.00. Thanks , Mark.

If you really like something, you better buy two!

I believe the most recent Blue Book of Gun Values lists it at $350 at the highest/mint condition. That's exactly what I paid for mine last year; plus sales tax, of course.

I will say this, though: there seems to be a bit of a run going on them, these days. This increase in popularity, real or perceived, may be bumping asking prices up, accordingly.

If you can afford it, try to bargain down a bit. But, ultimately, it's a solid buy. These are great rifles (for a handloader), and they definitely ain't making any more of them.

Good luck,

Current sales on these BB 94's in 375/307/356 are above the Blue Book Values. The Blue Book lists on in 100% at $355.00 but if it's in 356 or 375 add 25% to that figure, per the Blue Book. $400.00 is a very fair price and you would not go wrong if it's in 96% or better. I have a 307Win and found it with a Monte Carlo stock and angle eject. I mounted as 1-4 Leupold on it and now have a lever action that just about matches ballistics of a 308. I wish I had found the 375 your looking at, you'd never had the chance to look at it unless you opened my safe......

Use those pages for book values as toilet paper.

If you found one for new in the box @$400 and you did not buy it...........I don't know what to say but: FUBAR!

I'd hold off and see if you couldn't find one of the BB94 AE in 375. The XTR is not suitable to scope mounting because of the top eject. JMO

Good luck finding one. They're rare as hen's teeth, and most folks have never even seen one.
