Went to see it even though Cruise is in it.

Interesting, almost a documentary, and a useful reminder of just how lunatic folks can get, even a whole nation.

A useful reminder too that the folks like Von Staffenberg put EVERYTHING on the line to see this through.

The thought does occur to me though that someone in his circle willing to die to see it done could have offed Hitler any number of times.

Cruise is probably the weakest actor in the ensemble, some good period vehicles and shots of Fokker Trimotors. Overall not a good enough movie though to waste yer first-run money on, wait for it on DVD in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart.

Odd topic for a Christmas movie, for those who don't like Cruise rest assured this one will tank pretty quick.

The one to wait for looks to be this... "Defiance".... out next month...

Valkrye - the flick is only 6.50 to go see it here so I might still do so.

I hate watching a movie I already know the ending as well as the pertinent details....

I liked the movie.

Birdwatcher: I just saw it last week in the theatre - it finally came here to remote SW Montana.
I kind of liked it and was enthralled by the movie - the in depth story line.
I gave it an 89 on a scale of 1 to 100!
I also loved the flying scenes and I asked myself (but did not know the answer!) if in fact those planes were "FORD" Tri-motors?
Even the VarmintWife enjoyed the movie!
I am glad I saw it on the big screen.
The folks that made that movie went through a LOT of toil and trouble to obtain a high factor of realism - at least in my mind!
Tom Cruise is becoming more and more comfortable with the fact he only has ONE front tooth (as did another old time movie star - guess which one!) - the dentists have worked on Mr. Cruises tooth situation for 20+ years now and if one looks closely they have moved his own teeth to make it look like he was "born with" two front teeth.
He wasn't!
Anyway I enjoyed the story - and I never let the fact that I know the real story (eventual outcome!) of an historical movie spoil the "experience"!

I heard about this movie,some friends don't think it 's a good one.However,they recommend Two and a half men 1-5 DVD boxset to me.They said it's very good.
