What's really bad about this Bill. for the most part it turns a Right into a Priviledge.
And the Attorney General (Holder,,God forbid please) will have free will to decide what it takes to revoke that Priviledge. In short, the Second Amendment is still in the Constitution, but in effect means nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They just very effectively undermined it without touching it.
Yep,,,BO's statement, "I won't take your guns" in part is true, but he won't have to. They are just going make it so you have to hand them over!!!!!
If you haven't read the HR 45 post thoroughly, It gives the gist of the Bill from a gun owning lawyer's point of view.
It's not going to be good folks.
And Holder's Attorney General nomination was put on hold for another week.
He's bad news , you still have time call the committee Senators to voices your opposition to him whether they agree with you or Not,,,,CALL
Then call your District Rep. and let him know in no uncertain terms what you think of the Bill!!!!! This is a very dangerous time for gun owners as a whole.
You can also just about bet your last dollar that the AWB will be put on the table again with more additions and worse, NO Sunset Clause!!!
We got to move on all these issues folks, and at a more personal level with phones calls email and letters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
