Dan from Mountain Molds is great to deal with. Ordered the molds on Feb 6, and they were already here in BC yesterday. Ordered a 325gr .452 mold and a .460 405 gr mold. Both are double cavity alum. XL's. Cast some bullets with the 325gr last night, and they dropped perfectly and weighed as advertised. What really impressed me was not only the speed, but the flexibility to customize, as well as the price being a fraction of LBT's. He'll be getting all of my business.

Just curious if you've had a chance to cast/shoot any of the 45_405_BC's yet. I've got one in 2 cavity Iron on order from Dan with the intention of using this design in my Marlin 1895GS and my H&R .450 Marlin Ultra Rifle. I was wondering how you like that bullet design?

Matt, I went out after casting a few bullets (which looked AWESOME BTW). Anyhow, the first (and only) load I tried sent 3 shots into 2 1/4" @ 100yds (1900fps) from my Marlin Guide Gun SS. Needless to say, load development is done, and I am very impressed with this bullet, but the final test will be a week or two after I test in on a spring blackie <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />. You will not be disappointed! Mountian Molds will be getting ALL of my business from now on.

Glad to hear the positive report. Although, to be honest I've never seen a bad word written about Mountain Molds. Can't wait to run a few through my 1895GS.
