I just picked up a new 5DMkII and I am wanting to get out and do some landscape stuff with it....this cold weather sucks. Anyone else on here using this camera?

I'm happy for you. I hope to try one later this year sometime. Maybe you can get all the bugs worked out and let us know what you think.
I've seen some awesome shots from them over on POTN, it looks like a great camera body. What lenses do you have to use on it?...............................DJ

I have these lenses:
- Canon 100mm Macro
- Canon 17-40L F4
- Canon 70-200L F4 IS
- Canon 300mmL F4 IS

Sold the 70-200L F2.8 IS I had to buy this camera....

Sounds like they have most of the bugs worked out already on it, there was just a firmware update that came out....so we will see wink

Hi Rob,

Looking forward to seeing some pics--I was able to pick mine up but the weather has been too cold (-40-45 windchill) to get out and do much. Did get a few of my daughter and friend out in the snow but have not had time to upload, etc.

Learning curve is rather steep on this unit--in some ways is quite a bit more complicated than my Oly's and in other ways is simpler.

I really think I am going to like the 24-70 f2.8 I got with it.

Regards, Jim
