Just getting into my first .22/250, an ANIB 788, and have so far been shooting Remington 55-gr SP from Wally World with excellent results: groups around .7.
Costs $17.97 per box at Wally.
And my son bang-flopped two antlerless deer in late juvie hunt at 160 and 200 yds with it. No, he's not recoil shy. Has killed deer w/ .350 Mag, .308 and 5.56mm.
Have dies, but big lots of cases seem to have dried up.
Is anyone using Prvi Partisan and/or Wolf Gold .22/250 for shooting and then reloading?
Both are several dollars less than Remington store boughts.

The Wolf Gold is actually decent ammo. Can't say about reloading the brass though, as I never have.Never used the Prvi stuff, as I've heard some really bad reports about it.

Dirty, inaccurate, over-pressure? What'd you hear?
I'll probably snap up some Wolf soon for T&E.
Meanwhile, Wally is cheaper than Midway on the Big Green load and that is a known quantity in brass.
I got a neck-sizing set of dies, and want to fart around with .22 Mag/.22 Hornet level loads with Blue Dot at first. Want some quiet stuff for near town.
Don't need to worry about high volume shooting around here, so the factory loads will do for LR coyote, groundhog and crow out in the country this spring.

I guess I'm the odd man out on this one. I have shot a lot of Prvi 223 55gr FMJ in my AR's and it has been good ammo holding 1 - 1.25 MOA at 100 yds. I have not shot many 55gr sp 22/250 Prvi in my Rem. 788 but what I did shoot, held 1 MOA at 100 yds. and seemed to work fine. I have not reloaded any of brass yet. Just my 2 cents worth.
