Just wondering if anyone might be using accurate 3100 powder with 100 gr. bullet in their 257 wby?

I have some surplus that I would like to use. Thanks

I have a pound sitting here that I never use.....but there is no reason it won't work well in that gun. Only one way to find out.......get to it.
BTW it did work fine in my 340 wby.

I have used a bunch of 3100 over the years and it has been an exceptional powder for delivering an excellent blend of accuracy and velocity. Only way to make it better would be to offer a short cut version.
I think you find it nicely compatible with your 257. You will likely be able to load to 100% density, another feature I like.

Imagine your grave on a windy winter night. You've been dead for 70 years.
It's been 50 since a visitor last paused at your tombstone.....
Now explain why you're in a pissy mood today.
