How small can the Sportsman Guide German Fleck rain gear be compressed for backpacking? Is it quiet in the brush for hunting? Is it durable? It also appears to have a lot of red in it which makes me wonder about turkey hunting in it, any thoughts?

Trying to decide between the Fleck or the Bass Pro Thunderlite rain gear, any help would be appreciated.

The jacket does not compress as small as a Precip but smaller than a Helly Hansen Impertech.

Seems to be durable.

Sized small. I'm returning my jacket for a larger one.

I just ordered the jacket....I am 6-02, medium build and ordered the XL. I was told the jacket in 2XL is out of stock, and the pants in XL and 2XL are on back order until April. They said the jacket compacts to about the size of a football. I am hoping it is smaller after washing and softening some. Hope these are good ones.
