Like the title says, I have a Montana in .308 that I'd like to sell. I loved the gun, but stuff came up. It'll shoot MOA or better. I only had a chance to try a couple different types of ammo. It shot the Hornady 150 SST's MOA or Sub. The Black Hills 168 TSX didnt shot so good.

Serial number is in the 8,000 range, I didnt notice any feeding problems. The trigger is very crisp and light smile

Base's and rings included Leupold, Scope not included.

Some are easily confused.

Does it have the two position safety?

I just posted a WTB for one of these.

Thanks.

With a serial # in the 8,000 range, I'd feel confident it has the three position safety....

Dat's right. Seen several early M84s with 2 position swing safety that looks just like M70 safety but have no mid-stop. Don't know when they made the switch to real 3 position type.

Doesn't Kimber change the safety to a 3 pos for a pretty reasonable fee? I'm thinking that I read $35 or so?

Just over 5lbs empty and without base's and rings. 22" Sporter Barrel. If I didnt need the money I wouldnt be selling. If something change's before I can make a sale. I'm keeping it!

I've had some offer's, thinking about them. So dont stand on the fence to long or you might miss out wink
