efw,
A couplw weeks ago I sent seven fire-formed cases and some bullets to Lee to get some wildcat dies. A few days later, someone from there called and told me all the bullets were gone and five of the cases were. My point is, don't feel badly.
It was fun while it lasted.

I am guessing that even with insurance, it is unlikely that you would ever actually see a settlement for this sort of shipment. You can optimistically hope that insurance does make the folks at the Post Office a little more careful.

EFW Buddy, I apologize for being off the net for awhile. I still have not seen the box, I am sure someone in Egypt is enjoying our box I am sorry you are feeling badly, These things do happen. If you would start something up & send to me, I'll add what I have to it & get it moving along again, soon we'll have a nice box put together Mark

No problem Mark. I'll put something together in the next week or so and get it off to you... with insurance.
fishdog... I wondered the same thing about settlement. I have noticed that they simply seem to exibit more care... or are at least more reliable... when you have insurance.
I need to find a nice little Plano comparment box for this and send stuff off.
SUCKS cuz there were a lot of great bullets in that box. I really expected one of us would have seen it by now since it had both our addresses on it.

efw, from experience, don't go with the cheap whitish plastic plano tackle boxes - they won't hold up.... Get a decent one that the partitions fully extend up to seal tight. I even superglued some of them on the box when I did it!
Also, searching for some 35 caliber 180 grain hornady spire points and 225 grain accubonds for my new indiana deer cartridge. If you've got some, let me know what you're looking for!

Argh... I had quite a few of those exact tackle boxes. Ok I think I got something figured out. I'm going to send a flat rate box with baggies duct taped into one of those plano boxes Kimberman warned me against. I'm also going to throw in some altoids and altoids-type tins. I went through my fly tying materials tonight and consolidated baggies to come up w/ containers for the bullets I have set out to toss in. Holy cow after tying for so many years I have more flies than I could ever hope to lose, even with all the hungry trees on most of the trout streams I fish! I hadn't dug around in quite a long time so was struck by that... Anyway, I haven't ditched this project and am moving closer to completion. I'll let y'all know here when it goes out to Mark. Mark'll get a PM from me on it, too. Thanks again y'all, efw

Have to trade Canada only because I'm not sure we can ship such items across the border
6.5mm Sierra 107 gr HPBT Match 110 bullets (91 and 19 in 2 boxes) 6.5mm Nosler 140 gr Partitons 100 bullets (unopened boxes) 6.5mm Hornady 140 gr Spire Points 62 bullets
I also have 43 6.5mm 140 gr Barnes X some pulled bullets mixed in that I will throw in for free if someone takes the above bullets.
30 cal 200 gr Nosler Partitions 22 bullets Speer 180 gr Mag Tips 46 bullets
I would like to keep the 30 cal bullets together since there aren't that many of each.
I could use these bullets:
6.5mm 130 gr Nosler Accubonds 6.5mm 130 gr Swift Sciroccos 6.5mm 140 gr Speer Grand Slams
30 cal 200 gr Nosler Accubonds
375 cal 225 gr Hornadys 375 cal 235 gr Speers 375 cal 260 gr Nosler Accubonds or Partitions 375 cal 270 gr Swifts, Barnes TSX or Hornady
Contact me by PM if you are interested.
Gerry.
