hey ND, are you going to be sleeping in at CHickenBUck Ranch? Fire up the heat in there tonight and get that chill off.

I will also be working on the basement. Painting, staining, and tiling are on the docket. My dad is coming down to help, so I plan on abusing him as much as possible.
As for sleep. Oh, that would be sooo cool to sleep. The boys are still getting up 3 times per night. each. I dont know how the wife does it as she gets up most of the time with them.
Quit talking about buying guns! It makes me wanna buy one and I am spending all my money and then some supporting Menards.

We have spent plenty at Menards and Home Depot. I have a most everything I need supply wise except the flooring for the family room. Have bought enough tile lately...

I'm replacing bedroom and bathroom doors upstairs right now. Getting rid of the mid 80's darkness on doors and trim. It is never ending. Install new door and frame, put up trim, baseboard no longer matches new light colored trim and oak doors, replace base board, oops don't match rooms now, replace, oop don't match hallway now, replace, oop don't match dining room, and on and on and on. Just doing a little at a time. Thank God Momma is understanding about it and not demanding it all match at once. She is going to stain everything which is good because I hate doing that.
Dave - Ya still thinking about putting up the barn wood at chicken buck this summer?

Rooster, My basement was a blank canvas. We bought a spce home a few years ago, and the basement was unfinished, which is what I wanted. The doors are driving me nuts. Some of these things you couldn't get more level, and they still close a little harder than they should. Put in 2 bedrooms, family room, laundry room, hunting room, chitter, and a few closets. It seems never ending. I just buy supplies when we have the money, and no loans, no credit cards. Labor is free of course. I hired an electriction to hook up the breakers, and a plumber for the hard parts, otherwise it was all wifey and I. That makes it better IMO.
