On the two in D2 at the top of the page, how did you get that finish on the blades??

13579, I do alot of rubbin with 1000gt. sandpaper and go to the buffer with med. to extra-fine compound.

E3CK, sorry for the question, so you are making the blade from scratch, or are these blanks you start with..

What grade steal are these, how well do they hold an edge?

Yes Sir. the blades are made from scratch. They hold an edge very well due to the fact that I only usea combination of steels such as O1, 1095, 15n20, L6,etc. in the mix, steels that by themselves make a good knife.

Here is something just finished. A member here asked me if I could do him something in D-2 with a 4" blade similar to a woodcrafter but with a deadeye handle and a lefty. I usually do two when I do an order just in case something happens to one I still have the other to fall back on,But I didn't do two of these so this is #1 and only. Thanks John smile
