Has anyone got a new SC Model 70 Extreme Weather yet?
If so, what do you think of it?
Apparently they are starting to trickle through to Aus now, I may be interested in one.

I heard thatlater this month that they would hit the dealers shelves. I checked with 2 big dealers last week and none had hit yet.

I called last week it looks like May and June before they start shipping....

I noticed that the Classic Sporter is starting to show up on GunBroker. I have seen a few of those already , most were in some not very nice looking wood.

I am in the same boat I ordered mine a year ago they were supposed to be out last spring...go figure

i called about a month ago and was told the super grades MIGHT ship in aug, 09. didn't ask about any others.

When I calle dI really quized them different calibers are shipping at different times I am waiting for a 270 but the 270 WSM were not shipping till Aug. I should have pushed back and asked if they ment 09 but figured I had given them a bad enough time. I don't know why they advertised those guns until they were close to being ready?

Well, I solved my impatience problem for the time being. I switched my order to a Stainless Stalker X-Bolt. I'll just wait on the Extreme Weather to hit the shelves. I'm anxious to start working up some 325 WSM loads. ...Does anyone have suggestions for X Bolt scope mounts -- not to steal the thread?

I called a dealer in Queensland who was advertising them on their website, and they indicated shipments were coming in each month.
I should have pushed to check if they included the EW since the salesman also talked about the new FWT. I assumed he meant all models since they were all priced up on the website.

I put Talley Lightweights on My X-Bolt and like them so much I've already changed over to Talley's with two of My 700's.........Let us know how that thing shoots, I bet you'll be satisfied mine is extremely accurate.............547.
