I hate I can't help you with your question, but I am a fan of the 219 as well, and have long wanted a pair in .30 WCF and .22 Hornet.
Good luck with your question.

Mine has a Williams guide peep sight on it and It will shoot about one inch to an inch and a half all day long..
Someday I will find a 219 in 25-20 and rechamber it to a 25-35, but until then the 30-30 will do..It's a fun gun.
I had a 219 as a kid and my dad had a ranch leased in Mexico across from our ranch in Texas, and that ranch was swarming with both Del Carmen Whitetail, coues and Mule deer.I shot a lot of deer with the 219 and a Win 63 22 L.R.

soda/pop cans were getting too easy. We put some snuff cans out there and were hitting them pretty good. Factory Rem 150 grains.
If you really like something, you better buy two!

Any of the 219 calibers are great. Mr. Atkinson suggest rechambering a .25-20 to .25-35 and that would be a really good shooter, but it would be a shame to do that to a very, very hard caliber to find in this old rifle. Out of the 4 caliber found in the 219, the best caliber may be the .32-20. Also, it is a little easier to find than the .25-20. I have ,after many years of looking, a complete set of the 219's. I ,myself, prefer the .32-20. I wish there was a .25-35 from the factory. Better still, a .32-40. I don't claim to be an expert on these. If i had known when i started wanting a full set of these rifles, how long and hard it was going to be, i might have looked at something else.

If you REALLY want a 219 in .25-35, find a .30-30 or .22H with a wrecked bore and have somebody like Mark Beinke in Klamath Falls, OR reline it to .25-35. You'll like it.
Rechambering a .25-20 to .25-35 is OK if you only intend to use it for varmint duty and stick to 60-87 gr. bullets. But you won't get very good accuracy with the factory loads or any deer bullet--.25-20 twist is too slow to stabilize them well (60-87 gr. bullets at 1 in 14" twist for .25-20, 100-117 gr. bullets at 1 in 8" twist for .25-35). And good luck finding a 219 in .25-20 now--the only one I've ever seen is mine, which had a sewer pipe bore and had to be relined. (My .25-35 219 was originally an abused .22 Hornet). FYI, I know a guy who lives in the boonies near Moscow, ID who has been using a 219 .30-30 rechambered to .30-40 for years on deer and elk. Seems to work fine, although he only fires it about three shots on a good year.....

I don't believe it. I replied facetiously, above, because I hadn't even SEEN a 219 F/S in over 20 years locally, at shops or shows.
And, here, today I ran across a pristine Hornet on a local used gunrack, tagged at $225 + tax, that I was able to buy for $200 !
I'm flaberghasted - and it even has scope-mount grooves !
I can hardly wait until next week's pickup, to try it out.
