I just bought a Beretta 390 that is almost flawless. Any suggestions on modifications to make it a good clays gun? I have always heard that they are great guns and I can't wait to shoot the thing.

No offense, but didn't we just do this a couple of weeks ago?

It can be ported but not necessary, I would buy some aftermarket chokes for the gun. I prefer comp n choke but there are many good ones out there. I would also and a new bolt release both Angle port and Briley make good ones.
The other things that are optional are back boring and lengthen the forcing cone.
Lastly have the trigger check for creep and weight setting. Have the pull weight around 3 lbs no creep and she will be a gem

As for being a great gun I would agree. But I am partial to it since I have been shooting one for compatition for a number of years.

Good luck
