Japanese Arisaka bolt action rifle type 99, 7.7/58mm. This is a Nagoya Arsenal series number 4 rifle with chrome bore and all numbers are matching. The matching numbered parts include the forward bayonet lug, serial number on receiver left side, the bolt and handle assembly, firing pin and extractor. The emperors mum was carefully ground on this rifle prior to surrender, no deep or excess tooling marks in front of the gas port. Overall the rifle has very good metal and original wood finish, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. The center band has the holes to mount the mono pod, and the flip up sights have the holes to mount anti-air craft sights. The bayonet carries the Nagoya Arsenal mark as well. Also included is a new set of 7.7mm Jap reloading dies by Lee with the factory crimp die.
