First, BMT you don't get to play, because we already know it wouldn't change a thing for you.
So, what would you find yourself carrying on a daily basis?

But then only criminals would have autos...
Some as of yet undetermined J-frame would be my choice

It is a 7 shooter, .38 special rated for +P. The big plus for me, is the fact that it is so much easier to get some kind of accuracy out of. Much more than just a belly gun. It also doesn't hurt my feelings that it is a 7 shooter.

probably a model 19 with a three inch barrel if i could find one. i have one with the two, and it works fine except for the extraction issues with the short ejector rod.

Fully Automatic AK-47 that I modified in my shop. (this is the smart alec anwser for what I would do - not what I have done.... obviously, I hope!) I figure that'd be about the best tool I could come up with to set things straight because it's obvious that the government has gone off of the deep end and the revolution is on!

So, what would you find yourself carrying on a daily basis? What I'm carrying right now, i.e., a Smith & Wesson Model 64 with a three inch barrel and round butt frame stoked with six rounds of Buff Bore +p 158 grain LSWC HP, and six more just like it on a speed strip in my right front pocket.

Since all the good smartass answers are taken (you have to be quick around here) I'll just post a pic and say something crude like this with a pocketfull of speedloaders:

My SP 101 Ruger in 357 Mag or Smith 629 4 inch in 44 mag
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

Same here. I don't make trouble and I certainly don't want any but there comes a time when you just have to say no. If enough will just say no, we'll be fine. If not, I guess we'll see. Here's another question for everyone. What will you carry when they ban handguns? A whistle? Prayer beads? Semi-autos are only the first thing on their list, not the only thing.

It is a model 242. They made a .44 special in the same gun. It was a model 296, if memory serves. It was all that I could do to keep from bidding on one of the .44 spl's on Gunbroker a week or so ago. Kinda wish I had now.

Heard some old hands who had been to Old Gunsite had a little song about the AWB and libs in general. "Just in town from back in the sticks hope to lay low and pass pretty quick ain't too many problems a man can't fix with $700 and a thirty ought six." I'd still tote my pocket .32 beretta or .22 minirevolver or Taurus .22.Not leaving my beloved red clay and kudzu for mexico or yankeeland and if the hard times come i have Pops winchester aught six some good friends with spare magazines we'll either go fishing or have a barbeque.
Bangflop! another skinning job due to .260 and proper shot placement.
