I have 2 of them. I really like the design and they are extremely well made. One is on a .270 and the other on a .338

I can send you some pics if you wish, PM me later today.

Excellent stocks, stronger than most and finished 2nd to none, just bed, install pad and paint. I have used more than 40. Stuart the owner is easy to work with as well.

I use them for all of my lightweight rifles. I think they are miles ahead of the Banser stocks at a much better price. They have the most rigid forend of any stock I have seen in the weight range.

I'd like to give one of these a whirl but I'm not smelling what you're cooking in terms of "much better pricing".....

A blank from Wildcat is $259.00
A blank from Mark Banser is $252.00

Is that "NoCal math"? laugh

I believe the Wildcat price list is in CDN dollars.

Sorry the wholesale price is about $185 and the banser will require more work to get to the same level of finish. If you figure in your time to finish it out I would say it is close to half the price. I guess you can call it the norcal discount.

These stocks appeal to me, and are as good or better than anything else out there. Both of these were done through Corlane's (Rocky Mountain Rifles) in Dawson Creek, B.C.

Looks like there is alot of finishing work to do once you have the stock. By the time you fill, paint sand add pad & studs how much savings do you have over a McM?

All depends on what your requirements are, if these are things you would like to do, a big savings can be had.

That was my reason for looking at different stocks. I have McM's and really like them but, wanted something I could mod and not be out much.

My order is going in next week so, I will know soon enough.

Have Fun and thanks again for the replys,

Rob

What do these stocks weigh? I might be interested in a light weight stock from them.

Looks like Model 700 ADL or BDL are from 17-21 oz's

Anybody else have any positive or negative comments about these stocks.

Will be in touch with Stuart today to get the wheels turning.

Again Thanks

Rob

I see that customers must send in their own recoil pads if they want them installed. Anyone do this? I was wondering what kind of a job they do grinding a recoil pad such as a Decellarator?
