Wildcat Composites are one of Canada's best kept secrets...awesome stocks! However, they are from from drop in, and require a little more effort than simply bolting your action in like a HS or McMillan.
I've owned 7 of 'em and they're the only LW stocks I'll use now...a much stiffer stock than the MCM Hunter Edge I owned (and sold).

The classic blanks hovered in the 19-20 oz range w/out pads/paint bedding.
I have a Rem M 7 that is inletted for a Rem 700 SA that goes not much over that bedded w/pad and paint (I'd have to pop it off the action and weigh it to give an exact weight...been a while since I had that one built).

I think in talking to Stuart, he will do about anything including washing windows. Great guy to talk to, just alot some time for the lengthy conversation and, don't drink while your talking to him as you may have what your drinking, coming out your nose from laughing.

I just spoke with Stuart,I'll be sending him a Remington Mountain rifle stock to use for a mold,hopefully down the road he'll come up with some more models.It'll take a while tho',he has a lot of irons in the fire! Monashee
