What is the best way to reattach the side to my old Lynch box,at the back end it is loose.Glue[what kind]or brads?

Pictures would help, but it's hard to beat carpenter's glue for gluing wood. You do have to be able to clamp the pieces together. Any hardware store will have it.

My old lynch fool proof did the same thing. I used clear epoxy and clamped it until dry.

I glued it up this evening,used some Weld-Bond&clamps.Reloader7RM,does your Lynch have a date on it?Mine has 1958.Thanks All.
