I heard Rush for a little while this morning and he was pretty clear about what he meant.....Obama's plan for America is to turn it into a Euro-socialist state, and Rush hopes that fails.

he also said that presidents are merely temporary stewards of the American people, and their job description does not include destroying American institutions and remaking them in their image.

The part you are missing about the failure of Obama, is that what he wants to accomplish will at least diminish America,as we know it. One of the most obvious parts of his plan for the U.S.A. pertains to freedom. If Obama got everything he wanted, would your freedom diminish? Well, you had guns before - they would be banned or restricted if his wish list came true. Free speech - the fairness doctrine surely limits that. Health care? If you think gov't health care would come without mandates on how you eat, risky behavior,(except stuff like homos and aids)think again. You also would be unable to choose your healthcare provider. (think gov't cheese - it IS cheese, sort of). The promises of Obama come with a price - your freedom. Obama's success is not America's success. Quite the reverse. No true American would want these policies to SUCCEED!

On the contrary, no true American would wish a Marxist to succeed in his efforts (whatever they may be) while occupying the office of the United States Presidency, and every true American would earnestly hope for his utter failure.

Rush is correct about wanting Obama to fail. If he succeeds we will be more socialist than any country in Europe. miles

I find him to be masterful at his craft. He knows exactly what his listeners want to hear and provides them with a daily dose of it.

But, telling folks what they want to hear doesn't necessarily mean that the issues are carefully explored. Limbaugh usually paints with a broad brush and offers a myopic view of events. Of course, that sort of adamant, don't-confuse-me-with-facts , approach has a certain appeal to some.

I appreciate what he does, and agree with him on points, but don't consider myself to be a huge fan. I think he could do more to broaden his message without diluting it.

How many people talk about Rush, that don't listen to him in the first place? Lots of them. If they heard his reasons for saying he wants Obama to fail, seems to me it would be obvious, he puts the country first.

I was kidding about the voice of moderation deal, it's how we came to where we are.

Must be more than entertainment if the libs want to shut him down. I don't get to listen to him enough, only bits and pieces as I'm at work.

Rush's let 'em fail mantra is 100% correct. Down with bam-bam's policies!

What the Demoncraps are trying to suggest is that Rush wants our nation's first black president to fail because he's our nation's first black president.

Does he discuss our limited vote allowed by our two party system?

Does he discuss term limits?

Does he point out that both parties sponsor their respective share of pork?

I don't care if he is fair and balanced, but does he offer more of the same division or does he provide some fight against the same old politics as usual?

Neither!
