Made while they were changing the stamp from rear of tube to below the turret?

Weaver made other-branded scopes, such as J. C. Higgins scopes for Sears. This may be one like that but to save money the company didn't have their own name stamped.

I've had some Weaver made scopes that were for other distributors that had decals on them. "XXX Dist by Weaver"
