I was looking for first hand info on this load as well. I've got a bunch loaded up and will report when I get time to hit the range.

I'm starting around 73grs and workin up...COL's as far as the mag will allow.

Good luck,

Brett

I've used H1000 with a couple of different rifles and have consistently had pressure issues that come very quickly with loads nowhere near max.

I use H-1000 in my 270 Win, 300 Win and 338 Lapua aand find it to be a very consitent powder with very low SD and ES. Very accurats as well. I like H-1000 very much

I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

Just made a post in one of the other forums about H1000 and the 100 tsx.

Here's copied from it "My hunting load is 100 TSX, 75.0 H1000 for an average 3596 fps. It groups just a little under an inch out of the Wby Ultralight. At 76 gr. I begin to see loose primers."

I have a pound of H1000 I bought 5 to 10 years ago that I messed around a bit in the 7RM. One thing I noticed was an unusual amount of smoke. Is this common with this pounder? or was it maybe this batch I bought?

You need to call it. I can't call it for you.

I haven't noticed anything different from any other powder.

I picked up some the other day to run in my 25-284 with 110's and the 7mmRM with 160's. I hear good things. May try it in the 243win with 105's as well.

I tried IMR 4831, RL-22 and IMR 7828 in my 7mm Remingtom mag. None of those powders came close to the accuracy I get with H-1000 and bullets from 140 to 160 grains.

-Does anyone want to share load data/details for the 100NBT and H1000 in their Roy?

75 grains of H1000, WLR, 100 BT. 3500 fps. Half grain under max.

No matter how good a rifle looks if it shoots over 1 inch groups its ugly.

FYI, H1000 is a touch too slow for my 25-284 and moly 110Accubonds. Light compression from 55-57 grains as it worked from 2900 to 3050. Very crunchy from 57 to 59 with no increase in velocity. No pressure signs, sooty necks. That bullet goes deep in the case at a 2.810" OAL, so a guy with a 3" magazine and no moly might could make it work. It was worth a shot, but no dice.
