Thanks ND but actually that is not her whopper. That is a 39.5" that she had to put back. I'll email you the pic of her big one.

I've got the bug is an understatement. I got the boat home on Sunday, and got everthing hooked back up lastnight. I need to fix a livewell pump, but that's a $15 fix. The starter is begining to make a noise every once in a while, so I should fix that too. I have it for sale on craigslist now. I showed it a few times, but no takers yet.

I have two that I'd buy tomorrow if I sell that sucker. Both nice boats. It will be hard going from a 19' boat to a 16-17' boat though. crazy

If I don't get any takers by May, I'm keeping her. It is a really fun boat. Lots of room, big dance floor up front, the wife likes to lay out on it while we cruise, it is nearly rigged perfect for me. Once it reaches perfection...I'll have to start on something else. laugh

If you can get the price down the Pro V is the way to go. The Rebel is a fine boat also, but not it's not a Pro V.

I got an e-mail from the guy that traded the boat to them. They gave him $7400 for it. I thought that was pretty generous! Best I could come up with on NADA was $6400. But it is always lower on there. Thier list is $9900 or $9800, I can't recall which. I'd probably go up to $8000. None of means a hill of beans if I don't sell the other one.

I moved my truck at 10:30 and it was 63* already. Melting ice like crazy now.

Funny, in December I get excited about cold weather making ice, in March, I want it gone. smile

Just checked Weather Underground, they're showing 64.2* here. By the way, it's officially Spring. The wife hung the laundry out on the clothes line this morning.

Hey trout, wassup?

that dang white stuff will be around out in the woods for a while yet.

I like to see it gone in april, mid april at the latest if I'm going to get a good morel mushroom season in May.

yeah that's right, I said it, Morel Mushrooms, there. It's official.

Someone has to say it sooner or later so then the rest of us can go nuts watching the calender, watching the snow melt & waiting for them to pop up out of the ground.

I have had a Pro-V and quite frankly I wont own one again. Everything broke on it, it has those painted aluminum gunnels that get hot and slippery and it just wasnt what I was hoping for. The livewell always vapor locked or something and lund knew about it. Their cure? Back up. Great...after all the fish are dead, I can back up and get it to work again.

Look at Alumacraft (or a Ranger Reata if'n you are after a windshield boat). That is my .02.

Morel's, now there's a real treat. Out in the Northwest people take a week off of work to pick and sell them. They make some big bucks in a good year.

Morels are not very plentiful in this area.

Beretta,

This is a 98, tiller. It doesn't have the HUGE wid gunnels that the newere ones do.

I have a Ranger 692 Fisherman now. I'm trying to downsize a bit. I want one that will fit in my garage. I'd get a Ranger 618T if I could find one that isn't $25,000. crazy

Ah, I see. Sorry for the bitterness, that boat and I did not seem to see eye to eye. Dadgumit, it has been 3 years and it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I gotta believe there will be some good deals on boats this spring.
