Been sticking around a bunch of these forums tooooo long and pockets are pretty much empty......however, stick around long enoungh and all the good advice/experiences of others starts to rub off

Picked up a Marlin SS LTD Guide Gun with the 16.25" barrel a few weeks ago and just shot it last night (only had time to sight in before dark) and this is what I got - all two shot groups then moved sights - starts low right, then high right, then high left, then left. Other smaller caliber holes are from a .270 (@100 yds)

Distance was 50yds, open factory sights (front bead covered approximately 6"), & Hornady Leverevolution ammo. I may add a scout scope/ghost ring combination on the gun - but man can this gun shoot. I am tempted to add a scope just to see what it can REALLY do .

I got the 18.5" version of the same gun. I mounted a Bushnell 3200 2/7 on it. I am extremely happy with it and man does it do a number on hogs!

if you reload data on target.I shot this with a LTD II 45/70.scope is a 2x7 leupold.
these rifles are very accurate.bullet used was my cast 340 gr.

Really nice shooting Pete! I have not had a chance to reload anything in mine yet but looking forward to it in the near future . I have a bunch of Speer 400 grain bullets that I'll probably start with but I'm kinda fasinated with the Hornady Leverevolution bullet for whitetails & black bear.
