Geez Dave,

Not even incriminating photos.grin Nothin, zip, nada. How in the world can 5 or six kids be waliking around the woods, in the dark, and not even carry any beer.

Kids these days. grin

very dissapointing isn't it?

laugh

These kids are die hard young outdoorsmen. The commitment to fishing/hunting is way higher than anything I had when I was there age. It's very nice to see, keeps them all healthy & out of trouble too.

grin

BTW, thanks for all the pictures of the boat Tom, it looks great, we didn't have a chance to talk about it over the weekend though.

why do weekends go so fast?

Wait till you retire and every day is Saturday.I love retirement.
I wish I had done it many years ago. What?Oh yeah, that's right.I wouldn't have had any thing to live on.

I don't know, but the go fast.

The boat was nice and shiney in the sun on Sat. smile

I've had more people come and look at that thing since my craigslist ad expired, than I did when it was up. crazy I don't get it.

It looks like a pretty good group of boys the Captaing is running with. I wasn't much of a hunter at that age, though I loved it, fishing was my passion, and still is. Turkey hunting comes in a close second though.

Tom, Did you have any luck getting a price on the Alumacraft Classic Camp? Were you checking with M & J or Galles over in Rapids?

No. He's from West Fargo. (fargo, nd)

He still has forgotten to send me the pics but I cornered him today and he said others like it are selling for $11 - 12k but he'll take $10,300 without the electronics. I have no idea if thats good or not...

Yeah Bill, kind of. I was trying to get a price from M&J's. Getting anything from there has been like pulling teeth. I found a great boat there, but they want 2K more than it is worth. It also has no electronics of any knid on it.

The dude who traded it emailed me what they gave him, and I thought they were generous to him.

I'd have to check on to see if that is fair or not. I'm not looking to steal something, just get a rig that will be safe with the monkeys in the boat, and fit in the garage. I'd take some pictures though if you get them. I'll take some more info too if you have it. I kind of want a Lund or a Ranger though.

So are you saying the boat you have now isn't safe for kids Tom???

Is this why your trying to sell it Tom???

Does it come with a "not safe for kids disclosure?" Tom???

What do you have against other peoples kids man???

laugh

No, very safe rig. Very deep. I'm more concerned with my son the monkey climbing out. So really what I'm looking for is not a bass boat, which I know the Alumacraft is not.

Alright, I had to go to Denver for work last week and was sick yesterday so I had some catchin' up to do. Luckily, I did get Dave's email addy and can start posting that in bathroom stalls wherever I go. wink

All this talk of boats is killing me. I have the 115 Yammy 4 stroke and LOVE IT. Highly recommend it. I am also a big fan of Alumacraft for what it is worth.

The twins turned 1 and we celebrated by giving them a big piece of chocolate cake. I will try and post pictures of them; pretty cute all covered in chocolate.

The basement is about 99.8% done! Wahooo! Now to sell it so I can move closer to Camp Chickenbuck....well I will still be 4 hours away I s'pose.
