Been wanting to try Hunter in the '06 and .260... Don't know why I waited.

Sako 75 Finnlight (21" barrel)
RP brass, partial FL sized
Fed LR match primers
130 Accubombs
45 1/2 grains Hunter
3 shots: 2764 fps, 2738, 2766
2755 avg.

Sako AIII (24" barrel)
RP Brass, neck sized
CCI LR primers
168 TSX's
60 1/2 grains Hunter
3 shots: 2927 fps, 2908, 2916
2917 avg.

And the Tactical Squirrel Sniper still shows promise:

Looks like you are good to go, nice shooting. I have to get some Hunter to try in my 260 and '06.

Good shooting! I've had similar results in my 270...but unfortunately I'm out and have to get more.

The velocity of your 30-06 load would make a 300 win mag lonesome in the safe.

Very nice shooting! I've been useing Hunter in one of my .30-06's for a couple of years now with Horn.165's[60.0gr.] and it shoots extremly well. I just got around to loading some up in my.270-Win., and that works to perfection also. Thats probably because my .270 is a Sako Finnbear[grins]. Rifletom

" Death in the Short Grass" ! grin

BTW, when I am shooting, I usually use more of my target than you and your .260 & '06 I get the boolits to spread out a bit more, get my money's worth out of the target! laugh

Your teasing me. I cant get it local and have to order but I hate to buy a keg and not have it run to well. At the same time I will not pay $30 in shipping for $20 worth of powder.
