i'm loading for two swedes and bought a pile of 130 accubonds cheap. started loading with rl-19, but i'm looking for other powder options.

i have rl-19 and 22 on hand i also have i4350 and rl-15. i use cci large rifle primers exclusively.

what other powders do you all recomand to get me 2700-2800 fps.

also at that speed and bullet do i have a 300 yard elk killer?

thanks

At that speed and with that bullet, are YOU a 300 yard elk killer?

PS - I love the 130 Accubomb in my .260...

I'm using Accurate AA-3100 with 130 accubonds and CCI Lr primers and getting speeds of nearly 2900 fps. I have experience with both RL19 and H4831 but like AA-3100 best.

I haven`t tried the 130 Accu-bond in 6.5 but, I have drove a lot of 129 gr Hornadies with R22 from my Swede.

H4350 works very well in mine w/130 Accubonds. Also try R19 and H4831.

My 24" LR Mauser 6.5x55 gives me 2950 FPS with 129 grain Hornadys using 47.5 grains of H4350 with a 3" COL and CCI200 primers. Your rifle will be different. Of course, this load is not for milsurp rifles.
