Is this decent brass for reloading compared to Win/Rem??

I think so. It is about 0.1 inches shorter but that is a plus when reloading with heavy bullets according to those who do this.

Good question and the answer for me is "no." The brass is too short to work for big cast bullets. I use 405gr cast bullets and the brass won't reach the grove for crimping with the proper OAL.

It works for me with 360 gr bullets. Nebraska it all depends on the bullet and location of the crimp goove. Look very cool with a 510 gr bullet but it is too long to function in my XLR. You could always assemble a dummy round or 2.
