Brookville, eh? That's a small town along Interstate 80 in NW PA. Not much happens there. Good Ma & Pa restaurants in that area. Very rural. Punxsutawney is about 30 miles south. Home of Gobblers' Knob, The Slumbering Groundhog Lodge and Punxsutawney Phil, the most famous weather prognosticating groundhog in PA. <grin> Ever heard of him?

Tzone, did ND buy your rig? i see he's been missing here a while. congrats on selling it. I showed my other boat on wednsday, sounded pretty good. we'll see i guess. I bought my Pro Elite starcraft on craigslist last fall, found a good deal on it. I love that boat, excellent ride and fast. Wife went shopping that week so when she was gone i thought it was the perfect time to get a new boat. she was kinda surprised when she got home that day. prolly won't be doing that for a while again though....

No ND didn't buy it. I had it on Walleye Central and it sold in 9 hours. Some guy in duluth. He's getting a hell of a nice rig I can say that. Thing runs like a top, and rides like a Caddy.
It is just a little big for how I fish now.
What size is that pro elite? A guy I used to work with bought one. A 20' pro eliet. Nice rig, big and wide.
I found one I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy. Nice little 1660 Lund Pro-V tiller. 50th Annaversery addition. VERY well taken care of.
Ma needs to give the go ahead though. The whole crew went to see it last night, we all piled into it and messed around for a while. Even the cassette player still works. Great boat.

Oh yeah I've heard of that damn groundhog. In fact, now that I know he will be within spittin distance, I just might have to ship my 22-250 out there along with some 40 gr. varminters! I blame him for all this @#$! white crap we got layin around here. He will be mine! OH yes! He will be mine! Do them weather groundhogs respond to a soft whistle like striped gophers do when you need them to poke their heads out? I'm staying in Clarion because apparently Brookville does not have much for hotels or motels.

Whew, I feel like I can stick my head up again now that the Ranger is gone. Hopefully Dave isn't still doing penance for even thinking such a thing.....

Those Starcraft's are nice boats. See a lot of 'em in the UP.
I found a great one, but for some reason the dealer doesn't want to sell boats. Salesman was prick. Problem is, the boat is great, a used one, but comes with a warranty and everything. I'm thinking of not getting the rig on principal.

You're all set bud. watch for your validation tag to come in the mail probably this week. keep that someplace safe, you'll need it this fall with the rest of your license.

Tzone sold his, you'll sell yours too. my big project for the summer is going to be a 60's style custom car for weezy. 1964 galaxie, lowered, custom paint, pleated white interior with gold piping & accents, kind of a pearl vanilla white for the main body color with a gold laced roof. Gold steel smoothies with chrome bullet lug nuts & chrome bullet push through center caps wrapped in wide white wall tires. what can I say, weezy got style. so, no boat for me. but that's ok.

Not even!! Fomoco's "economy six" the 223 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder. not to fast & easy on gas. I'll probably split the exhaust manifold so she can have dual exhaust & the illusion of power 3 on the tree!

You need to work your way up to it like I did. I went from a wore out amc 6cyl to a 300hp gas sucking, big tired, dual straight pipe, somebitch. It is a gradual transition.

this way we'll have both ends of the spectrum covered for the mid 60's galaxie world. weezy can cover the low end, dad will explore the high end. Z code 390 & a toploader 4 speed in mine. of course hers will be done long before mine though.

"kind of a pearl vanilla white"
My employer is giving away a "1964 1/2" Mustang that has a pearl-like paint job with a red interior. It looks real nice, wish I was eligible to win the car.
