Shooters gotta SHOOT and for me the Savage 250s have always been a favorite. Do tell us how this one groups for you?
There's another 250 EG in my stable, too.
The fore end wood to barrel fit was the tightest I'd ever encountered. It became even tighter after it got a fresh coat of oil and wax.
The initial groups shot at 8" at a 100 yds. so I've got to lighten the trigger pull a little and relieve some of the pressure on the fore arm. Then we'll see how it shoots...
