Don't give up on the red, white and blue. Heck, if you really want to make a statement, and get attention, fly each and every flag represented by the original 13 colonies who signed on to kick the "Coats" off the continent! It would make quite a display I'd reckon! People would ask what's up? You could then point to each flag and tell a story. Maybe talk a little about the original signatories of the Declaration of Independence, how they suffered, many dying pennyless and without land or family. Talk about how you feel about the country that is "going to hell in a handbasket." Read up, do your research. People will notice. But if you just fly one flag, or two, no one will pay any attention at all. I did 20 years in the Air Force, and cannot in good conscience support supplanting our flag for another. But I know your heart and I agree. Regards;
Dan

Dan, your idea is a good one, but unfortinatly I don't have enough room and can't afford poles and flags. I'm not about to give up on "Old Glory", but I do want to make a statement, which I think the "Gadsden" flag does rather well. As I said, there are lots of people flying the "Stars and Stripes" who give little if any thought to the rights and ideals it represents. I look at the "Gadsden" as an original American flag, and it represents the things that the Founding Fathers were fighting for. I'm more than happy to salute "Old Glory", and the men who served her, but I also want everyone to see what's going on. When folks ask why I have a rattlesnake on my flag, I'm more than happy to tell them.
7mmbuster
