have any of you heard or had any experiance with this flexible ceramic (cerakote?) coating they are putting on guns? it is supposed to be highly affective against corrision/rust. how does it compare to electro-nickel plating?

Go to Nic Industries (nicindustries.com) and then check micro dyne and then firearms. I have seen this coating on samples at the SHOT show, but am not an expert. It withstands extreme heat and the entire gun can be coated, stock included. It would seem to me that it would be just the ticket for people shooting military ammunition and those who live in a high humidity area.
