The army is buying guns, RPGs, grenades, etc. from the Iraqis. A gun buyback, hasn't that been tried here? At any rate, to get them to sell them, they have to pay higher prices than the local black marketers, so....guess what?
We have now created a cycle. It was interesting to read that Iraqis can keep AK-47s but not pistols for home defense. This is the last couple of paragraphs.
