Hi Kat. I am awaiting our annual fawn attack in the back yard soon. I got to see 4 of them grow up from barely able to walk across the property to seeing them romp and run like crazy. I hope you are doing well. PM me sometime if you have a mind to.

Just came in from the back deck after watching 2 adult and 2 fawns from last year grazing out by our barn. When I went out they just looked up and watched me for a few seconds then all went back to grazing. They have been showing up every evening for the past week. Last week they were only about 20 feet from the house.

Welcome back! Hope you doing well. Cute video.
I knew a lady that had a cat door and cat. She was working in her kitchen and looked up to see a family of raccoons (mother and 4 young ones) enter through the cat door, walk into her kitchen, eat up all the cat food, and then leave via the cat door. She mentioned that from their behavior, it apparently wasn't the first time they had been there.

Sassy: Where I am in NY, growing up we NEVER saw a deer in the back yard. Today there were 5 does. actually pretty regular visitors to the yard. We VERY seldom see a buck but a couple of weeks ago there were 2 of them and the biggest drove of the little one. None of the Does I see look pregnant, but what do I know. Last year we had day or two old fawns in the yard, none so far. Maybe it is still a little early? Where I am is NOT the country at all, cars everywhere and a pretty busy town but there is a LOT of woods and land for the deer. Many of the deer seem to have been hit by cars or die along the roads. I think we have TOO many deer for the location. Nevertheless, I always get a kick out of seeing them, especially the very young fawns
