Hard to tell much about your rifle, as the pictures aren't very clear.
What make of Mauser is it? I don't think that I've ever seen a Mauser with a tang safety.

Nice rifle, great caliber. I use to hunt quiet a bit with a Winchester Model 70 in 257 Roberts. Took game at longer distances than I would have ever believed possible. Hope you enjoy it.

ER shaw built the whole rifle in 1989 it shoots everything u put in it I shure have enjoyed it already 6 for 6 on whitail this year Ive been shooting the horn 117sst going to try the 100g r, xlc barnes 4 yote and deer
the only markings on it is a ser#
