Most of the time it's whatever is mounted when I'm hunting but my all time favorite favorite is Zeiss 2.5-10x42 Victory Diavari.
Have Fun

Wildcatter, So far, I've had 3 Swarovski 1,5-6x42. I've had them on a .300 Win Mag, a .338 Win Mag and still have one on my Sauer 202 in .30-06. Eye relief was never a problem and the only time I was hit by the scope ocular was while shooting uphill with a Leupold. I considered the 1,5-6x42 the closest to a universal scope, that is before the Z6 series came out

Since the S&B's and Swaro's are out of my price range, my favorites are the Zeiss 4.5-14x44 Conquests followed by the 4-16x40 Elite 4200's.

That's my favorite all time scope that I've actually looked through. Unfortunately for me I don't own one. That'll change, however.

My favorite scope I own is a 3200 Elite 2-7x32.
My next scope will be a 2-7 leupold.

The zeiss victory 2.5-10x42 with #4 is only 15.5oz & amazingly bright with a bold FFP reticle. The conquest 3-9x40 with #4 is awesome as well.

An old Leupold Compact 6x with European recticle. It rides on a Ruger 77 Ultra Light in 250sav.
This little scope is plenty bright and is just the right size for a short action. I really like the recticle too as the fine veritcle wire makes the view seem more open.
It aint fancy but it works.
