Where are you heading out of fishing, I'll be up by the rainy as well at my cabin, haven't decided on bringing the boat yet or not because of the weather. Might just stay inside and do some good deeds for the day. It is a silly fish that is caught twice with the same bait!

My first sturgeon, I'm not happy at all... 48 inches. mini me on the fish reeler. 24-ish Uncle Dusty holding it for him because the boy didn't have gloves on, the little sturgeon can really tear your hands up. Meanwhile in the other boat.... Bangflop's having trouble bringing a sturgeon aboard. The fish thrashed while being hoisted & I caught it on cam, neat picture. eventually, he got it though a hair over 51 on that one. The boys in the other boat caught a boatload of fish as did we but I am just showing some highlights here. Uncle Dusty with the assist on another fish for Dave. I took great pleasure in assisting my boy for this photo opportunity. 58 inches. meanwhile on the other boat (I thought this was a neat picture, it captures the enthusiasm of the camera men) OK, Day 2, Uncle Dusty towing a big one around. we saw him jump once but to get to the point where I took these next photos it was an hour and 15 minutes. That's a long time to pull on a fish with this kind of strength, it will wear a man out big time. I offered the assist in boating the fish, crazy huge huh? [img]http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e364/northerndave/100_0612.jpg[/img] And Dusty with his 56 incher. A victorious close to an hour & 15 minute fight. I have a slight idea of what it would be like to fight one of thoses horses for over an hour. The small one I caught out in Portland gave me a heck of a fight for a little over 5 minutes. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Except for bears. Bears kill you.
