I just saw one and I had no idea they were available in Canada .Does anyone have any experience with this rifle?

I bought one of the Armalite AR180B rifles some years back. Other than some minor break in issues, it has been trouble free, and is quite accurate.
I have not experienced any failures, or problems of any kind. The chamber is tight, and you need to clean the receiver well, but other than that its good.

I did have the intregal muzzle brake cut off, and the barrel crowned and threaded to take an AR birdcage.

Currently, I am using a Bushnell red dot sight, but I have other optics options I can put on the rifle.

I had one for a few years, but unlike Sam's mine was not even accurate enough to be a decent coyote rig. I traded mine off. If the AR180 is the only rifle available in that format to you, I would be very tempted to take a chance on it, though.

We can get many kinds of black rifles here but AR15's are restricted weapons here and as such you cant take them hunting.And that swiss thingy is just fracking expensive.

Ricky, I have found my AR180B to be as accurate as my AR rifles, excepting my Bushmaster Varmint rifle, and my Colt HBAR match competition rifle.
I have it configured to be a HD weapon now, but I do have a mount that just slips on to hold a Pentax 20mm 1.75-5X scope. With that mounted, it delivers hunting accuracy, and them some.
