Did you get a chance to ask your Weaver friends about this new scope? The ocular bell size, in particular. TIA

No, I didn't, and it isn't even in the 2004 catalog. You might try their website--or have you?

Yep! I've checked the website & there is nothing on it there. Natchez & one other (forgot) list it but it's not in stock. Also, they have no picture. I'm in the market but want to see this model before I make a purchase. Guess I'll just have to be patient. Regards!

Update
Natchez has them. I called and they checked the eye bell for me. It is the same size as the RV7 scope. I ordered one and it arrived very quickly. Very nice folks at Natchez.
I have not mounted it yet but it appears to be very good quality. It is made in Japan. The length is approx. 11 1/2". The finish is a dull black matte. The click adjustments are coin slot type. The AO adjustment is a bit stiff to me but that may change with use. All in all I think it will work very well for my purposes.

That sounds like a prime 17 HRM scope. What are you going to put it on?

260Remguy,
It's going on a reproduction Winchester 52 Sporter which is why the eye bell size was important to me as this rifle has a high bolt lift. I wanted to avoid having to use high or extra high rings. BTW, I forgot to mention the price. It was $190 at Natchez. I read SWFA has them at $200.
