No Weapons for Anyone

From today's you couldn't make it up if you tried file.......Obama's protectors have ordered graduating Midshipmen....and I suppose Commissioned Officers through Flag rank...to leave their swords at home. Full Dress White includes "wear sword". More to the point...those badges of office have been earned in a manner Obongo and his minions just wouldn't begin to understand. Important traditions that inspire are kind of lost on the red banner crowd, apparently.

Further, ceremonial swords never seemed to bother the Secret Service for any previous President. And before World War II, the swords were not particularly "ceremonial", I've seen some of those blades, boarding actions did occur on the China Station pre-war against river pirates, warlords, etc. Those swords were worn not just to graduation, but to Inaugurations, in the receiving line at the White House afterward, to the Inaugural Ball. Somehow nobody gave it a second thought. Somehow even Presidents in the past didn't presume to specify items of uniform.

But of course, what worked for Harry Truman, Ronald Reagan, F.D.R., the Bushes, T.R., any other rational non-cult leader.....doesn't work for this former state senator anointed by the Chicago machine.

Does he secretly consider our Naval and Military leaders "the enemy"? Perhaps the message this sends escaped his handlers. Sad. And .....follow me on this Obama and minions.....insulting. Actually it's contemptible.

He's shown over and over that he's a disgrace as Commander In Chief. I know it's impossible, but it would have been great if the entire class, at the end of his speech, dropped trou, and shined him on. Now there's a photo op!

I didn't see any swords in the graduation photos for past years either, back to 2003.

A CIC that doesn't know squat about the military - and doesn't care. He either thinks he will get run through, or doesn't want the military associated with evil weapons. It could be (small percentage IMO) one of thse "sign of the times" things. But I'm more apt to think if it like this. If a public figure knows in his heart of hearts that he is doing right by the people and that the people truly appreciate, respect, and admire him he has nothing to worry about in the way of safety whilst among them.

Evidently this is not the case with the dingleBarry. If he fears being out in public among the "common man" I'm sure there is a reason for it. And the fear is not some superficial thing bouncing around inside his empty head, it's generated from deep within him.

Whatever it takes to keep him safe... He needs to go down the tubes and in a big way, but NOT like that! This one needs his pride and arrogance to come to full term and produce their results right in front of God and everybody. He needs his hatred for America, Americans, our way of life, and the peoples of the entire earth to be fully exposed and becried far and wide. He needs public humiliation.

Not only does he need it, America needs it. Put liberal and socialist agendas first in the limelight, then in their place, for all to see. And it needs done in a way that no one can succesfully argue.

I know cops who have received Presidential awards who had to show up in uniform without their gunbelts.

Well now, ya gots ta rememba, theez be future potential domestic terrorists.

Not defending the POTUS. But, does anyone know for 100% certainty that Obama made this decision versus the Secret Service? It's my understanding that the Secret Service makes the decisions on security, not the POTUS.

Some of you truly give Obama more credit then he deserves. Some have this idea that he micro-manages everything from A-Z.

It may not be Obama personally who is making these decisions but I would put money on it coming from someone on his staff.
