35 Remington.
*27.6 grains Benchmark: holes touching at 50 yards - no excess pressure signs.
*35 grains Benchmark: holes grouped sub MOA @50 and about 3 inches higher. Still no flattened primers, etc.
I don't have a chrono so...

very interesting, I have a bunch of Benchmark I need to use up. Would we be correct in assuming that this load is fired from a Marlin 336? Where did you get the load for 35gr of Benchmark from?

Pre safey 336 with micro groove rifling. Hodgdon website for the load, although not specifically for the FTX. I didn't realize until after loading a few up that the FTX may require a different load than other 200 grain bullets. Bullet seated to the crimp ring and crimped. I'll get a chrono and see how they're doin' velocity wise. For this application (short range in brush) 1600+ fps should be fine.
