+1, I have often found a highly intelligent, personally appointed ass reaming to have a lasting, almost spiritual, motivational effect, eh? I do believe that gentleman would have rearranged the smiley dude early in the vid

I feel that soldiers frustration... but something tells me that "motivational" speech was totally wasted on the effs he was addressing.

Agree with all that you say. but, I wonder if his "motivational speech" will have the intended effect of making these guys better police officers. I know how I'd react.

Likening those Iraqi's to a bunch of women with their thumbs up their asses made me want to listen all over again.

If that speech doesn't offend their pride and spur them to action, then they have no pride at all. In IRAQ, being likened to a woman is a very serious charge. I'm quite sure the officer leading the "meeting" was aware of that fact.....
Loved hearing it anyway.....;)

I'm sure it had about the same effect as an Iraqi soldier chewing out a bunch of American police.

I'm sure it had about the same effect as an Iraqi soldier chewing out a bunch of American police. That is like comparing moon dust to flour. Iraqis and Americans are incredibly different socially, culturally Starting with we have rebelled against our leaders, and fought for ours and others freedoms for what, like 100+ years? No comparison.

Iraqis and Americans are incredibly different socially, culturally No doubt about it. Somebody probably should explain that to the American soldier who is doing all the ranting. The only reason those Iraqi police are there is because they're being paid to be there. They have absolutely no interest whatsoever in what the soldier has to say,...except for the amount of money they earn during the time that they stand and listen to him. Take away the pay,...they'd all be on their way.
