Actually, it's pretty awesome to watch them grow, gain confidence and step out into the world. Rest assured, just like a wandering pet, they'll always come home. Home is the rock they can stand behind for protection, lean on for stability and sit on top of to gain perspective. Enjoy the ride.

Well gents, this may be my last post for awhile. Or it may not. I dunno for sure. This is my last day in the office and we move tomorrow to Alexandria. a dream come true. As soon as i get my internet figured out up there, i will stop back and re-join the nonsense that is the Birth of a deer camp. In the meantime, keep your pants on, keep your powder dry, and may your fishing lines be tight.

Tom, good luck Tom Hope you catch a boat load. Little guy is a force to be reckoned with. Had him out on the putting green today. Than 2 hours of baseball.
I see WI had some flooding in the South. It's been cool and cloudy out here. Supposed to warm up tomorrow.

Anything but cool here today! High 80's mid 90's and humid. 92 tomorrow.  This warm weather should be good for the bluegills next week. They were really starting to snap I guess. The flowage isn't a bad daytime bite, kind of brackish water. Those slip bobbers on the weed beds should start to heat up. I found a few new spots to try that looked promising. Bass will be silly. Swimming constantly with the little buggers, frosty beers by the pool,....looking to be a good week.

Yeah, I think there has been 95 cases or something like that.
A 12yo little girl died from it last week. Scary stuff. Makes a dad worry a bit, espically with two kids in daycare.
Dave, congrats on the tags...are the for a bull or cow? How about 'el Capitan, did he draw?
