Has anybody got a line on a central Texas lease for feathers and fur? It needs to be [gasp!] reasonably priced.

I expect lots of lease opportunities this year for those that can budget it. Here is a big list, but personally I don't know any in that area. http://www.leasehunter.com/browse-leases.phpstumpy

The Ozona Chamber of Commerce visitor center maintains a list of day hunts, short-term and long-term leases available in Crockett County.

I used to have a lease in Ozona. It was north of the truck stop / RV park / auto museum. That place had more damn rattle snakes than any other spot on earth.

Ozona is 200 miles from Austin, a city which is pretty much split by the Balcones Fault, the eastern edge of the Edwards Plateau. Unless they have changed the "facts" that we learned in geography classes in high school and at the University, the Edwards Plateau is pretty much Central Texas, and Ozona is certainly on the plateau--certainly more so than Austin.
FYI.
