I am almost finished with a Martini Cadet in 17 Ackley Bee; the dies are on the way, but are having problems find reloadind data.
Anyone recommend loads? My Cadet in 218 Bee loves Lil Gun, any Lil Gun loads.

My younger brother is a gunsmith, and he made up his Martini Cadet in .218 Mashburn Bee. It's a pretty little gun with a half-octagon stainless barrel and a peep sight. In fact, I shot it a few times this past Saturday, helping him fire-form some brass. Open sights get harder to use at 100 yards, though, as I seem to have gotten older... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, I love my little Cadet 218 Bee! It love 13.5 Gr Lil Gun & 40 Gr Barnes bullet and will shoot 1/2" at 100 yards all day long. I only hope the 17 Ackley Bee shoots as well. If he hasn't tried Lil Gun in his Mashburn, I recommend he give it a try.

Don , check out the forum at www.saubier.com . There are tons of .17 caliber fans posting there and I'm sure you will find some data on the Ackely Bee if you dig thru some of the old posts and archives..........

I did a bit of research and found quite a bit of info on the .17 Ack Bee. There are loads listed in Handloader #117 Also, Nick Harvey's Practical Reloading Manual has loads listed. And the latest Hodgdon Manual has it listed. If you wish, I could Xerox what I have and send it to you, snail mail...the9.3Guy
