I have a backpacking trip coming up and need to order dehydrated meals for 6-8 guys on a 6 day trip.
I'm looking for the best price on Mountain House dehydrated meals.
The best I've found so far is from Safety Central.

Has anyone here ever ordered from them?
Any other good resources for Mtn House meals?
Thanks!

Go to http://www.trailcooking.com/ and make up some of your own freezer bag meals. They're waaaay cheaper and delicious. I dehydrate all my own veggies with a home made dehydrator and it works great.

Add in the local sale paper had buy 4 get the 5th free. Thinking of getting a dehydrator and trying a little DIY.

You are on the money here. This is one of the explanations of DIY from that site.

I'd swear they take Stouffer's Lasagna and freeze dry it ... love that stuff ... laugh
