I want to go back! those pics are like a Robert Service Poem! It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder, It's the forests where silence has lease; It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder, It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Everyone wants to go back! I was there in 1998 and noted that most the non-native folks I met there where from somewhere else and now lived there instead. I was there for a moose hunt, but fishing happened too. .

I did go back... last week! The Mrs & I took a week for ourselves and I asked her were she wanted to go; Oregon Coast or somewhere else. She barely skipped a beat and said "back to the Yukon" (she came up to visit the last few days I was up there last time). It just so happened that our friend in Whitehorse was going caribou hunting at that time so we tagged along. It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder It certainly is! Here's a couple from last week. We were just a tad too early for the really vibrant colours. RC

I mined in Dawson City for 11 seasons. The Midnight Sun was my favorite. I see at 2 am there's still a line up to get into the bar.

Tuff - I got kicked out of the Westminister back in 1971 but I have been back a few times. When you're a miner you do end up in the Pit.

A married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing!
